Scoil Mhuire is delighted to be participating in the formal announcement of the extension of the Pauline and Bunnie Jones Scholarship at NUI Galway virtual launch, with the Jones family on Thursday 6th May at 2pm. The 2020/2021 recipients of the scholarship from our school were Catherine Mannion, studying on the Bachelor of Science (Biotechnology) course NUIG and Joshua Hanrahan, studying on the Bachelor of Science (Mathematical Science) course NUIG. The scholarships with an award of €10,000 over 4 years, will be annually awarded to two students from our school and two students from County Roscommon who demonstrate academic achievement in their Leaving Certificate and progress to undergraduate studies at NUI Galway. The Jones Family are the benefactor of these scholarships which are being awarded through the Galway University Foundation. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Jones family for the generous support which they have shown to our students through these scholarships.
